Refund Policy

Effective 6 February 2026

1. Free Trial

The Professional plan includes a 30-day free trial. A GHS 2.00 card-verification charge is collected at the start. This charge is non-refundable — it confirms your payment method is valid and is not applied toward your subscription.

Exacto billing is currently processed in GHS. If this changes for a market, pricing and refund disclosures shown at checkout will apply to that transaction.

If you cancel before the trial ends, no subscription charge is made and there is nothing further to refund.

2. Processing Fees

Payments are processed by Paystack. Any fees retained by the payment processor are non-recoverable and are therefore excluded from refund calculations.

3. Paid Subscriptions

Once a subscription payment is processed (after the trial for Professional, or immediately for Firm), the charge covers the full billing period and is non-refundable.

4. Billing Errors

If you believe you were charged in error (e.g., duplicate charge, incorrect amount), contact us within 14 days of the charge:

Email support@exactocost.com with your account email, the transaction date, and a brief description of the issue. We will investigate and, if an error is confirmed, issue a refund to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.

5. Disputes & Chargebacks

If a payment dispute is opened through your bank or card issuer, your account access may be suspended until the dispute is resolved. We encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve the issue directly.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect.

7. Jurisdiction & Mandatory Rights

This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws in your jurisdiction provide additional rights. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
